Seeking hard-working individual to feed a herd of 16 horses morning and night for approximately 15 hours/week. Duties include throwing hay into the two pastures, mucking 10 horse stalls, laying down pine shavings, stuffing hay nets and filling water buckets. Your work is in barter for the rental of a spacious room, fully-furnished with a twin bed, sofa, dresser, flat screen tv and cable, wi-fi, heater and AC unit. A large full bath and laundry room are shared with two other tenants. There is no full kitchen so each room is equipped with a kitchenette of refridgerator, microwave, coffeemaker and skillet. ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED. Your stable hand work is 15 hours/week and works out to the equivalent of $600/month in barter for your room, full bath and laundryoom. ADDITIONAL PAY: In addition to the 15 hours a week of stable hand work in barter for your board, you will be paid $17/hour to operate the tractor for snow-plowing, seed planting and stacking manure; operate the lawnmower and weedeater for lawn maintenance.
