Ranger is a 2 year old, neutered, utd on shots, and we were told a mix of Husky/German Shepherd. He is a BRILLIANT dog, so he will need to go to a home that understands his needs. He needs a good amount of room for exercise so someone with at least a little bit of land that's not in the busy city is preferred. He previously lived in a home with children and did excellent with them. Due to more than likely his high energy his previous owner dumped him in the middle of the street where he was hit by a car. He has since healed from his injury but is still a little anxious at times and we can't blame him! Ranger is not the kind of dog that can be chained up or kenneled for hours so an owner who's as an outdoorsman/outdoorswoman and on the go as he is would be perfect. He does perfectly fine with female dogs but can be selective with the male dogs that he coexist with, so a home with no other males would be preferred. Due to his prey drive and energy it would be best that he is in a home with only dogs as other household pets. You won't find a more loyal and loving dog than Ranger, all he ask is a safe home where he will be given the attention he deserves.
