I have no relation, just seen this on Facebook and thought to share. Please contact numbers in flyers. Update: 15 days since Diandra Chalmers was released from Parkland Hospital. Into a city with a population of 1,304,379, that she knows nothing about. Fighting demons that no one else knows anything about. Hospital won’t talk to us. Can’t get the Detective nor the police department to pick up or return a phone call. She doesn’t qualify as endangered, but she is off of 8 different medications and can’t be found. I don’t expect no one else to care as much as her family does. I mean who is she to you? I know one thing.. If my sister was white and missing for 15 days? She wouldn’t even have to have a mental disorder, but I’d bet you my last dollar they’d have her picture/flyer on every news channel across the country. In less than 72 hours. Because that’s the number of hours we were given before the law enforcement could look into it. It’s been 360 hours and all we get is a few words and a picture you got from me. Because it’s not the same picture given with the police report! I’m just keeping real, and you can disagree if you want to. She’s an African American…Female, and she suffers from mental illness. Those three simple things describing her, automatically gets her over looked! Please keep my sister lifted up in your prayers! Pray that she is safe, unharmed, and returned back to her family! She is 36 y/o and suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. She had an episode Monday November 29th. My dad, Johnie Chalmers took her to Parkland Hospital in Dallas Texas that night. He begged them to call him before they released her, and of course they did not! They released her Tuesday November 30th, without calling anyone. Not even her Primary care provider. We have not seen or heard from my sister since. She has been off her medicine for 9 days now. Wandering around this city she don’t know anything about. We have filed a missing person report with Jack Evans Police Department here in Dallas Texas. We both are from East Texas so she doesn’t have a clue about this city. The Hospital won’t give us any answers, they won’t return phone calls. They didn’t have the decency to let me in and talk with me. Please help me find my sister. She is not homeless, she has a family that loves her and misses her. I’ve passed out flyers on feet all week! I just need some more help! Please please please please share her picture.
