Description

This is a great and easy project for any DIY capable person or handyman. We had a wind turbine and solar generator installation last weekend but weren't able to finish up the final items. The following is a list of the items that need to be finished, along with my estimate of how much time they will take: -Drill hole in 3 pipes for wind turbine wire exit, 5 mins. -Pour concrete pad for wind turbine base x 3 = 3 hours total. -Install anchors for 3 wind turbine bases (bases already on site), you just need to supply the anchors,The wind turbine anchors need to be at least 1/2-13 (1/2") or larger, 1 hour total -Run wires from wind turbines out to solar generator (Wago quick connects on site), 15 mins. -Bolt down bases, pipes, and wind turbines (wind turbine and hardware on site), 30 mins. -Screw ground anchors into ground and use u-bolts to attach guy wires, all parts provided, 1 hr. -Attach wind turbine blades (hardware on site), 3 per turbine, 15 mins. -Make sure 12V is supplied to the two Inkbird temperature controllers in the expansion boxes. (wiring is already ran for the 12V, it just needs to be connected with the Wago quick connects). Program Inkbird controller to turn heating on when the temperature is below 1 degree celcius. 1 hour. -Plug in solar panels (wiring configuration is already done, they just need final plug in), 0 mins. -Connect EMP defender, 5 mins. -Connect battery expansion boxes to main solar generator with provided cables, 5 mins. Adding these up comes out to a little over 7 hours, so we're willing to pay a full 8 hour day at $30/hr = 240 + transportation = $280 total.
