Rock & Country Start Up

Description

There's been a few longstanding bands that have called it quits in recent months. They were using agents and booking into the usual places. I think there's room for some new acts, particularly ones with polish and skill. I play guitar pretty well (effectively playing parts as they're recorded, with good tone that suits the material) I sing some but not looking to be THE lead singer (maybe we have 2 or 3 people who sing instead?). Trying to put some people together who have a lot of recent experience in the cover band scene but not finding a gig for lack of opportunities. Something you're up for committing to that will probably take a few months. These things take time and patience; don't respond if you expect it to be up and running in a few weeks. There's very few slots open in gigging bands now, which is why I'm trying this. I don't really want to run the thing but we can figure it out if things go somewhere. Looking for bass, drums, keyboard and lead vocals to do marketable rock from 80's to current, and just a little 80's it's getting stale. Danceable rock and country with a selection including some dynamic moments that take some skill (hopefully). Women dance and that helps bars sell booze and food, so the show should lean towards that. Age range 30's to 50's. Recent band experience and quality but reasonable volume gear required. Respond with what bands you've gigged with actively in the last 2-3 years and I'll do the same. You have to be fairly like-minded on the material also. Only people meeting these criteria will get a reply. It's harsh, sorry; starting these things is really tough and takes a lot of time with even the best players.
