Detroit, MI. Metropolitan Airport - DTW The Inland Group of Companies | TYPE: Full-Time / Temporary 3 – 6 months | Shift: 8:30am – 5pm | POSITION OVERVIEW: IDS is currently looking for an experienced home-based Recruiting Sourcer to keep up our level of commitment to safety and operations. In this role, you will be the initial point of contact for all potential entry-level job-seekers for the assigned airport station, work with the Hiring Manager and the Corporate HR Team to increase applicant flow to the station ATS. (JAZZ) Apply at: RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for Community Outreach and networking in the local areas, cold calling, posting flyers, attending roundtable’s etc. • Participate in College career fairs, state and national conventions, and other events as necessary, local travel is necessary. • Responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and staffing for the assigned station. • Maintain a future candidate pool for the station when currently at the correct capacity. • Utilize operational analysis, trending, benchmarking, and research to support leadership and your manager with projections for staffing/personnel needs • Track results of recruiting sources/efforts and produce associated reports upon request. • Work with Corporate Recruiter to develop and maintain a Workforce Staffing Plan for the assigned station. • Work with the Corporate HR Team to ensure compliance throughout the hiring process. • Additional duties and projects may be requested REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE: • Self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent people skills, able to manage and motivate. • Thrives working independently, but must be able to work in a team environment on projects. • Excellent computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload, and be self-directed • Must have knowledge in Human Resources. • 3 to 5 years of Recruiting experience is preferred. • Jazz – Applicant Tracking System experience is a plus ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States and will not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment. • HS Diploma or completion of GED and professional experience. • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. • Must have a valid driver's license • Successful completion of the required airport badging process and pre-employment drug screen is required. • Ability to speak English in a clear, concise manner in order to communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and vendors.
