Construction Superintendent

RGS Products, Inc. is an architectural railing and metals manufacturing company providing customers with custom design balcony and stairway railings. We are in search of an experienced Superintendent for a 6-12 month temporary assignment. The Superintendent is responsible for managing all onsite activities for given project. Responsibilities: • Supervise progress of the project from start to finish. • Field verify measurements making sure they match blueprints and drawings. • Assist with the installation of product and report any issues or inconsistencies to project managers. • Serve as the liaison for communications with the client onsite. • Ensure compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies. • Collaborate with project managers and senior management to identify and troubleshoot problems which arise. • Analyze equipment, systems, and processes, to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs onsite. • Assess the competence, capabilities, and sufficiency of resources. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines • Strong problem-solving skills • Strong supervisory and leadership skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Education and Experience: • At least five years of experience in construction, or other related field, with at least three years of management experience leading field teams required. Physical Requirements: • Travel required (must be able to travel to assigned job site) • Must be able to stand, walk, bend for prolonged periods of time • Must be able to climb stairwells • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: From $20.00 per hour
