iso small dog for son who is scared of big dogs but reqlly wants a puppy

Hi, I’m looking for a small dog for my son to help take care of and learn responsibility. He’s afraid of big dogs and really wants a small dog. We have a nice fenced in back yard. And have two boys that will grow up with the puppy. One of the parents are always home so the puppy won’t ever really be alone. Please contact me. I’ve really tried to find something but it’s always fell through. Meet up times haven’t been ideal. Or I’ve gotten no answer back. Or I’ve been just too late.
