As a water technician you are responsible for helping home and business owners who have experienced water damage to their properties. Training and certifications will be provided to qualified candidates. Job Responsibilities: ● Excellent customer service skills. ● Respond to jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC and ServiceMaster standards. ● Water extraction / Steam cleaning. ● Controlled/ Clean Demolition. ● Proper setup of professional drying equipment. ● Monitor of drying conditions in atmosphere and building materials. ● Accurate documentation in job management software. ● Daily communications with peers, homeowners, office staff, managers, etc. ● Emergency board-ups. ● Mold remediation. ● Ability to work within a team environment. ● Keeping interior/exterior of vehicle neat and clean. ● Maintaining company image - uniform and demeanor. ● Takes Instruction and stays on task. Experience/ Skills/ Education: ● High School Diploma or equivalent. ● No industry experience required. ● IICRC certifications are a plus. ● Clean driving record, valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Physical Demands/ Working Conditions: ● Be available for 24-hour on-call rotation. ● Be available for Catastrophic Events & Catastrophic Event Scheduling (Cat Events within each season) ● Irregular work schedule at times. ● Basic knowledge and experience with hand tools. ● Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights and in tight spaces (crawls spaces, attics, etc.) ● Good with technology. Ability to use smartphones and tablets. ● Capable of lifting up to 70+ pounds. ● Capable of driving larger/ commercial vehicles.
