If we are speaking your language, please apply so we can get to know you more! What You’ll Be Doing Our Austin Fulfillment Center is looking for two folks eager to help run our weekend shift. These individuals will be supporting each of our shipping lines as we work to process volume that flows in on the weekend. The Shift Lead is the team's designated fire fighter. They're solving problems on the fly, answering questions, and supporting the leadership team in executing the daily plan. The Shift Leads aren't there to manage the people on their line, but to help manage the work. They're making sure the team understands the plan being set by the Floor Manager and has the physical resources they need to succeed. In This Role You Will Support the Floor Managers in cascading the daily plan Allocate labor resources on your team to execute the daily plan Organize end-of-day clean up for your area Ensure the lines remain organized and neat so that your team has the space they need to work Ensure your team has the physical resources needed to operate Support your line by setting the bar for rate expectations in shipping, packing, and picking Escalate any issues you encounter on the floor to the appropriate teams Answer associate questions about SOPs while on the floor Help to set the vibe for your line. Attitudes are infectious These Are Nice, Not Necessary Previous warehouse experience Experience leading a team Experience using a Warehouse Management System like Shiphero Important Details Hours Per Week: 40 hours with opportunities for overtime Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday. Workday hours are 8am-5pm, and the Shift Lead is expected to open and close the building on weekends. Please note that during times of high volume team members may be asked to come in early or stay late. Anything over 40 hours is paid at the overtime rate.
