Meet Buck! He’s a 2 year old hound mix with big beautiful eyes and a super playful energy. We rescued Buck from the pound recently hoping to bring the joy of a pet into our family of five. As it turns out, our children are not as excited to have a pet in the home as we had hoped. Despite his sweet and gentle nature, they are feeling quite uncomfortable having him around the house. After much consideration we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome Buck. He deserves to be in an environment where he is wholly welcome and adored. With a bit of training and plenty of love, we know he will be the perfect companion for someone who understands what it takes to care for a dog. Buck is as sweet as it gets. He’s a very confident dog and does a great job communicating his needs. He has high energy during playtime but also knows how to hang out and chill. He has put on some healthy weight since we got him as well. He hasn’t chewed up anything around the house. He loves to snuggle under blankets. He is incredibly trainable.
