POOL SERVICE MANAGER - REPAIR TECHNICIAN 909.931.9396 office 909.908.5184 Cell Must have 2 years experience and references Job Type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.00 depending on experience Benefits: Paid vacation – Flexible hours – Company Truck Summary Oversees the day-to-day operation, pool service staff, maintenance, and administration of all commercial pool routes, which consists of approximately 130 pools, spas, and wade pools. Oversees the hiring, training, testing, and certification of employees. Ensures that all appropriate water health and safety standards are maintained. The right person will have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, and have the desire to grow. Must be available to work Saturday’s, particularly during summer. Responsibilities Include: - Assisting with managing and directing daily activities of 8 pool service professionals - Troubleshooting and resolving service issues with swimming pools. - Repairing and maintain pool equipment. - Service all filters for pools and spas yearly. - Maintains records of pool service operations; monitors and maintains inventories of pool equipment and supplies. - Make sure each route is properly staffed and trained. This includes being responsible for the hiring, scheduling, training, and administrative duties needed for these tasks. - Meet Employees on a weekly basis to ensure that all items pertinent to that position are being accomplished. - Step in and assist employees with organization and monitor their progress and physically inspect their pools at least 1x/mo. - Assure that all stops are completed according to schedule and within company standards as well as if their staff are unable to work. - Cover pool route when pool technicians are absent, or growth demands it. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or service ordering, and inventory control. • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with sometimes demanding hours. • Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments. • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. • Records maintenance skills • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures • Follow, and enforce safety procedures. • Knowledge of optimal swimming pool water chemistry, temperature, and cleanliness standards
