Christmas, for many, is a difficult time of year. For some, our families are far away. Others don’t have family or haven’t talked to family in years. Whatever the reason you were planning to spend Christmas alone, my hope is to bring us together for a Christmas Eve dinner in community with each other. Let’s meet new people, celebrate each other, and build something fun! Time to choose connection! I’m Shua, a wandering writer and poet who focuses on human connection, self awareness, and personal growth. Because of this lifestyle, my own family is very far away, and it crossed my mind that there are many other people who would like to have some quality time together. I plan to make that a reality. Let’s push ourselves out of our comfort zone to try something new and choose community over isolation. It will be pay-what-you-can, volunteer driven, and collaborative.
