Illuminated Soul Weekend - A Weekend of AwarenessCraig Westhoff will be leading us through a weekend of awareness about how to steward our thoughts and emotions well, while addressing topics that include: the questions suffering asks, hope and an eternal perspective; anxiety, the power of choice, a biblical look at depression, obsessive overthinking and persistent dark moods that we all can encounter in some way, shape or form. At this powerful workshop you will be led deeper into an understanding of thoughts and emotions, what they really are, and how the Lord equips us to steward them properly so that we may live life with excellence of soul! There will also be times of worship, breakout sessions and ministry. General registartion ends Sunday, January 30th 2022. “LORD, you light my lamp; my God illuminates my darkness.” Psalm 18:28 WEEKEND SCHEDULEThursday, February 3rd 5:45pm Check-In 6pm Session 1 & Session 2 Friday, February 4th 6pm Session 3 Saturday, February 5th 10am Session 4 12:00pm Lunch Break 1:30pm Session 5 4pm Afternoon Break 7pm Session 6 WEEKEND DETAILSREFRESHMENTS Light snacks and drinks (including coffee!) will be served for most sessions. Lunch will not be provided on Saturday, so you may either eat off-site, or bring your own food and eat in the Church during the lunch break. MATERIALS Included in your ticket price is the Illuminated Soul manual, an incredible 100 page resource, which you will be given when you check-in on Thursday night. You will refer to this manual every session, so keep it with you as the weekend progresses! We also encourage you to bring a writing utensil and/or journal for additional notes, but we ask that you do not use your electronic devises during any of the sessions to help create a technology-free space for learning! COVID PROTOCOL Masks are optional for the weekend, and we will not enforce social distencing but there will be pleanty of room if you would like to maintain distense.
