This is a very hands-on workshop! Sat., Jan. 22, 10 am-2 pm / $139 / One Class All supplies included in class fee. Instructor Madeleine Misleh Location: Sew Valley 1010 Hulbert Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45214 Intro to Industrial Sewing will cover the concepts of industrial versus domestic sewing, why these are vastly different and how to determine when to use which machine. Students will learn how to use the machine’s straight stitch, walking foot, zig-zag, serger, double-needle straight stitch, and receive demonstrations using our more specialty machines. This is a very hands-on workshop where you will have the opportunity to learn your way around the machines, experience using them, and apply what you’ve learned to sew a tote bag. About Your Instructor Madeleine Misleh Production & Educational Coordinator, Sew Valley Madeleine Misleh graduated with a BS in Fashion Design at UC DAAP. A skilled sewer, technical designer, and lover of all tools, Madeleine coordinates the educational programs and leads projects for a wide range of clients at Sew Valley.
