Description

Join Group for the East End and Wild Heart Nature Connection for a stress-less walk through the woods in this Shinrin-Yoku style walk. Join certified forest therapy guide, Linda Lombardo of Wild Heart Nature Connection, for a refreshing winter walk this January. We’ll explore the deep rest of winter with invitations that take you into your heart space. When there’s snow, we’ll watch snowflakes as they fall, or explore the details and designs of snow on the ground. When there’s no snow, we’ll notice our breath, curious about what we can warm: a leaf, an icicle, frost? Based on the Japanese tradition of Shinrin-Yoku, forest bathing provides a wide range of wellness benefits. Come prepared, dressed warm, for outdoor walking. Wear sturdy shoes or boots. Please note that the restrooms are closed for the season. The local CVS or McDonalds can accommodate. All precautions for COVID will be taken, including social distancing. According to Linda, “Take this time to be present, lower the stress you may be experiencing, and connect with nature, which naturally boosts your immune system.” Spaces are limited, pre-registration is required. Limited to 12 participants. Adults only. Non-refundable Materials Fee: $8
