Learn new healthy, anti-inflammatory recipes with Rosa in The Hort Greenhouse kitchen, at Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park. The Horticultural Society of New York presents: Healing Foods with RosaAn in-person cooking class at The Hort Greenhouse!Hamilton Heights resident and our vegetarian chef, Rosa Karim, has been living with ankylosing spondylitis (in the arthritis family). To manage her symptoms, she is on an anti-inflammatory diet focused on fresh, seasonal vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. Rosa will demonstrate some creative and delicious recipes to reduce pain and increase joint flexibility. All ingredients and supplies are provided. This class is in person - at The Hort Greenhouse. Register now! Only 12 spots available in the class Schedule: This class will happen on 6 Tuesdays from 10:30am - 11:30am. We will meet on January 11, January 18, January 25, February 1, February 8, and February 15. Safety: Proof of vaccination is required to attend this class. You will be required to provide proof of vaccination upon arrival to the first class. Masks are required during class.
