New Year's Day event designed to educate African Americans about black organizations & groups in DFW, the problems we face, & solutions Happy New Year Brothers & Sisters! This FREE community event is a facilitated discussion designed to bring brothers and sisters together from various organizations throughout DFW with the sole purpose of: Promoting and highlighting the work your organization / group does locally and / or nationallyFacilitated Discussion around challenges in local Black communities & Challenges in your own Organizations / GroupConcrete Solutions that strengthen our organizations, groups, & communitiesIMPORTANTYOU MUST OBTAIN A FREE GENERAL ADMISSIONS TICKET IN ORDER TO ATTEND. ENTRY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED AT THE DOOR FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT REGISTERED. (SPACE IS LIMITED) REGISTRATION FOR THE PHOTOSHOOT CLOSES ON DECEMBER 27TH. REGISTRATION FOR THE EVENT CLOSES ON DECEMBER 30TH. Black Engineers, Black Firefighters, Blacks in Tech to name a few)If you are a member of the Black community and you are NOT affiliated with any group or organization, this may be a great opportunity to come out and find a community you can connect withAfrican American Entrepreneurs & Business Owners are an important sector that must be representedIf you have ideas, you are solution oriented, and don't mind sharing your thoughts...this is for you.Who This Is Not For If you are unwilling to meet and mingle with others, this is not for youThis is NOT an event where people will be pressured to join or become a member of any organization / group. Everyone will be given an opportunity to share information about their organization and how people can become a member IF they choose to joinAttireIf you have any attire that has your group / organization or business name, logo, or letters, this is the day to wear it to represent. If you have business cards, VendorsIf you are interested in becoming a vendor for this event, send the organizer a message. There will be a small vendors fee if we open the event up to vendors. Other Event DetailsIf you are interested in becoming a vendor for this event, send the organizer a message. There will be a small vendor fee assessed IF we open it up to vendors. Although this is a FREE event, there are certain aspects where we have to assess a fee for services. 2PM - 4PM: PHOTOSHOOT - If you would like an updated photo that you can share on social media, this time is set aside for you. If interested, you must register for General Admission w/ Photoshoot . You will NOT be able to change this upon arrival. 4PM - 4:30PM: LITE REFRESHMENTS - If you would like a small bite, you must register for General Admission w/ Lite Refreshments.
