Band Members Who Want To Do Important Music

I'm a vocalist and have a dream of putting together a band which centers it's music on themes important to society today; civil rights and equal rights for all, the climate crisis, the homeless crisis, the upheaval of American society, the need for acceptance of each other, gender rights... I know it sounds dry but some of the most memorable songs come from these issues and others. Also, people need to feel heard and spoken for. This is why we have the blues, for instance. And then so much of Rock comes from soul music/blues and we can still make sets a lot of fun. I would like this band to represent the diversity of our culture; many races, various religions and 'abilities.' I know that there is a blind Sax player here in Spokane, for instance, and a blind keyboard player. Now think of Stevie Wonder! I would love to meet you all and discuss your visions for your musical expression. We are stronger together.
