Description

As a Jewish Community leader, you are invited to help shape the upcoming San Diego Jewish Community Study: A Blueprint for the Future! Directions: Enter the gate at 441 Saxony Road. Tell the security guard you’re here for the Jewish community study meeting. Continue up the driveway and turn into the second parking lot on the right, the Olive Lot. Park in the Olive Lot and walk across the driveway toward the large white Farm House The meeting will be on the patio between the grass and the Farm House COVID Protocol: Please bring masks and proof of vaccination Generic Discussion: Our study is being led by the Jewish Community Foundation, Jewish Family Service, Jewish Federation of San Diego County, and the Leichtag Foundation and is being conducted by the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies at Brandeis University, a premier center for Jewish community research, in partnership with NORC at the University of Chicago, a leading social science research center. San Diego’s last Jewish Community Study was completed 18 years ago and no longer offers an accurate assessment of today’s Jewish community. While we have a vibrant and seemingly growing community, we lack meaningful current data about the demographics, identities, needs, attitudes, and engagement levels of those who identify as Jewish to strategically inform decision making. The goal of our new study, A Blueprint for the Future, is to collect, analyze, and report accurate and actionable data to inform community planning and enhance the vibrancy of Jewish life across San Diego County. This is an important opportunity to learn more about our community and we look forward to sharing the results with you when the study is complete. We hope you will join the study’s Leadership Team and Research Team in January to learn about the study, how it will benefit your organization, share your feedback, and find out how you can help ensure the success of this important project.
