Our 44th Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway & Community Dinner is scheduled to be held Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Noon at the Durham Rescue Mission located at 1201 E Main St, Durham, NC 27701.
We’re in need of volunteers, hams, and toys for this event. If you can volunteer or provide a ham or some toys, please call our office at (919) 688-9641, 5025.
Activities for the day will include free toys for children in attendance, a free hot turkey & ham dinner with all the trimmings, and hot dogs. PLUS, a bag of groceries will be given to every family to take home and cook for another meal. In addition, there will be a variety of carnival games with prizes for the children as well as free clothing items given away.
A special ticket drawing will be held at 1:00 PM for a 65” SMART TV, Nintendo Switch, Chrome Book, and assorted new bicycle’s for girls and boys.
