Sacred Heart Nativity Schools hopes to expand financial resources and implement a collaborative financial plan to ensure long-term sustain Deacon Rubén Solorio has a deep commitment to providing enthusiastic and mission-centered leadership to Sacred Heart Nativity Schools. Prior to joining the school, Rubén was the Director of Individual Giving and Donor Stewardship at the YMCA of Silicon Valley. He spent time working throughout the Diocese of San José in leadership roles at the Chancery, Sacred Heart Parish, Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County and Sacred Heart Community Service. Rubén attended Bellarmine College Preparatory, Santa Clara University, Loyola Marymount University, and received his masters from the Graduate Program for Pastoral Ministries at Santa Clara University. He was ordained in 2012 as a Permanent Deacon in the Diocese of San José. With 25 years working in ministry within the Diocese of San José, 10 of those directly with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish community, Rubén is fully committed to breaking the cycle of poverty through education and to the mission of Nativity.
