Learn to Paint with Alcohol Inks! Join Korinne Carpino, globally known alcohol ink artist, instructor and contributor with the Alcohol Ink Art Society, to learn to paint this whimsical moonlit tree. You will concentrate on creating a poured background and lifting out the tree. You will create 2 paintings on 5"x7" grafix dura-bright opaque white film. Korinne will lead you step by step through the process which is somewhat intuitive, as placement of the tree will reveal itself after the background dries! At the end of the workshop, your favorite painting will be placed in an acid free, white mat and encased in an acrylic sleeve ready for presentation! Experience Level: Novice. Prior basic exploration with alcohol inks helpful. Instructor will provide all supplies. Materials fee of $8.00 cash is payable to the instructor at the time of class. Tuition is $47. For everyone's safety, face masks are encouraged. Please arrive early to find a parking spot. Artisans is an artist co-op in downtown Mount Dora, Florida. We specialize in handcrafted artwork of all kinds. Within our gallery there is a small classroom in which we are offering a variety of classes that are fun and addicting. You will always be able to take home something you created in class. The classes are relaxing and intimate. Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts. Downtown parking lots are within walking distance. Feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage.
