Description

Sign up for as many of these class options as you like! Check out these fun opportunities to do something new (or something old) and meet new friends (& hang out with your current ones). School is closed for students, so we’re going to make good use of this opportunity to connect, learn and have some fun … and follow COVID safety protocols (masks required, vaccines preferred). MONDAY: Open Origami Time This 2-hour session will be an opportunity to fold with friends! Bring your paper and your projects if you’ve got them. If not, no worries! We’ll have paper and experienced folders who can help you get going. Come when and stay as long as you want. (Dec 27: 3-5pm, hosted by Megan Torrance) TUESDAY: Why Yes, There Is a Biologist in the House! Come spend an hour with an ecological & evolutionary biologist from EMU & Domino’s Farms Petting Zoo. You’ll learn something new & useful – and hear some great stories along the way. This class may also spend time identifying topics of interest for an evening biology class this winter. (Dec 28: 5-6pm, led by Michelle Souza) WEDNESDAY: Mmmm… Fudge! Homemade fudge will delight your family, amaze your friends and bring a smile to your face. Show up ready to follow a recipe, and go home with fudge that you made. You do not need to bring anything to this class. (Dec 29: 4-6pm, led by Alex Anest) THURSDAY: Bring a Craft, Share a Craft This 2-hour session will be an opportunity to make your favorite craft with friends, or learn something new. Bring enough of a craft to do yourself and share with others. Then we’ll see where our interests take us. Come when and stay as long as you want. (Dec 30: 3-5pm, hosted by Megan Torrance)
