Woman Lures Men On Instagram As Part of Robbery Ploy: NYPD

NEW YORK CITY — A woman is meeting men on Instagram, luring them to the Bronx and robbing them, police said. In one case, she ordered a victim to strip. Cops are searching for the woman and two men who participated in the robbery scheme. In the first incident, a 24-year-old man arranged to meet the unidentified woman at 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 3 on Anthony Avenue, police said. Once at the location, the man was approached by two masked people who threatened him at gunpoint and ordered him to take off his clothes, police said. The two masked suspects – along with the woman who lured the victim to the site – took the man's clothing and belongings and fled in a 2018 Infiniti sedan. A day later, a 27-year-old man agreed to meet a woman he had interacted with on Instagram on Boller Avenue, police said. Once there, the man was met by two masked people who took his coat, phone, chain and gold ring at gunpoint. The victim left in a car, which was fired at by one of the suspects, police said.
