Friends, music, prayer, silence, and thanksgiving for the darkness of winter and a turning toward the light of summer.
Join your friends at St. Peter's Episcopal Church and Voices for Earth Justice for this Winter Solstice celebration in the heart of the city. This hour of music, prayer, silence, and thanksgiving will take place outdoors and under the city lights and stars. We will give thanks for the beauty of winter darkness and the hope of coming summer light. Show up early (7 p.m.) to attend a taize service in the St. Peter's sanctuary.
Prayer, education, and action for Earth.
