Press release from The Hoboken Food Pantry: Dec. 14, 2021 The Hoboken Food Pantry Second Annual Holiday Market served nearly 100 households on Saturday, Dec. 11 with free gifts for the whole family. Clients were able to "shop" for gifts for loved ones from a wide-variety of products. (READ MORE: Can't Afford Gifts For Loved Ones? Hoboken Can Help: https://patch.com/new-jersey/jersey-city/s/hzbpt/too-poor-afford-gifts-loved-ones-hoboken-wants-help) What began as a small operation in 2019 to address food insecurities of the 96 men in the Hoboken Community Center Affordable Housing Program has grown to biweekly distributions of fresh and non-perishable groceries and non-food items such as diapers, toiletries and cleaning products to any local community member in need. Each month, the Pantry distributes more than 850 bags of food. The Pantry will move to a soon to be announced permanent location in Hoboken in the near future. hobokencc.org.
