RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — A gray Mercedes found itself in the middle of a slippery situation Tuesday morning, after wet conditions on the California State route 241 resulted in the car getting stuck in the mud near Santiago Canyon, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The Mercedes was discovered near the center divider of the freeway heading north at 9:48 a.m., the CHP says. The car appeared to be stuck in the mud, as its wheels were spinning while the driver tried to accelerate away from the mud patch.
