Press release from the Village of Montgomery: December 13, 2021 Montgomery, IL –After accepting a record number of nominations from the community for the past several weeks, the Montgomery Beautification Committee members and other volunteers have selected the honorees for this year's contest. Judges visited all nominated homes on the evening of December 8th and planted signs in front of 141 homes that displayed truly outstanding holiday decorations. "Many residents took their holiday decorations to the next level this year," said Dan Gier, Village Trustee and chair of the Beautification Committee.  "It is heartwarming to drive through the community and see the beautiful displays that are brightening up every single neighborhood in Montgomery."
