Press release from Castro Valley Unified School District: Dec. 13, 2021 At the December 8th board meeting, the Castro Valley Unified School District Board of Education took action to select Anca Buzatu for the position of Director of Business Services. Ms. Buzatu is replacing Ms. Tricia Feucht, who recently retired after serving students and staff in CVUSD for over two decades. Combined with her professional business world experience and working in public education in Business, Ms. Buzatu has reached her nineteenth year in the business realm. Holding two masters degrees in finance and finance management has provided her the knowledge base to be a consultant and assist businesses to optimize processes and performance. Her business smarts developed early in her career as an assistant university professor leading seminar classes on efficient allocation resources, financial performance measurements, and exploring methods of applying financial techniques to managerial decision-making. Ms. Buzatu has worked in Castro Valley Unified since 2017 holding positions as an Accountant Technician and Budget Analyst. "Please join me in welcoming Ms. Onka Buzatu to her new position.
