BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY —An East Hampton man was charged with speeding while intoxicated near the Bridgehampton School, police said. According to Southampton Town Police, the incident took place early Tuesday when officers saw a man speeding near the school. Manuel Quezada, 46, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, prior conviction, a felony; speeding, failure to notify DMV of an address change; and drinking alcohol in a vehicle on a highway, police said. He was transported to Southampton Town Police headquarters where he was processed and held overnight for arraignment, police said.
