Description

I have 5 mixed Lab puppies born on 11/05/2021 who need good homes! They will be 6 weeks old on 12/17/21 and ready for adoption. Mom is 100% AKC certified yellow lab. Father breed is unknown. I am waiting on results from a DNA test from Embark that I took on one of the puppies to see if we can find out the breed of the father. 1st picture: This is a male lab mix we nicknamed Sunny because he is feisty, playful and has yellow coat! 2nd picture: This is a male lab mix we nicknamed Chill. He is laid back and a little chunky! Coat color is black. 3rd picutre: This is a female lab mix we nicknamed Pedi (short for "Pedicure") because she has a slight fungus on one of her big toes that we have been treating daily. Don't worry, the toe looks better every day! 4th picture: This is a male lab mix we nicknamed Choco because he is a little chunky and chocolate colored! 5th picture: This is a male lab mix we nicknamed Tiny because he is the runt of the litter. We are asking for donations (suggestion $400) per puppy to help cover the costs of the puppies. Momma dog had some complications after birth (mastitis) and we had to supplement with puppy formula. We have kept the litter as healthy as possible: -The mom has been fed Puppy Chow since birth to give her extra nutrients for nursing. -Up to 2 1/2 weeks old, puppies were kept in a plastic swimming pool in our living room to stay warm and so momma could have easy access. During the 1st and 2nd weeks we had to rotate puppies for feeding due to momma having mastitis and supplemented with formula as needed. -Puppies have stayed on an enclosed porch with heat lamps since they were 2 1/2 weeks, coming inside if nights were really cold. -They have been treated for worms (most recent test on 12/13 was negative for worms in feces). -We will be giving them their first round of shots the week of 12/20-12/24. -We feed the puppies 5 times per day: **We started supplementing with a high end puppy food at 3 1/2 weeks, softened with puppy formula and water. **We switched to Puppy Chow softened with formula and water at 5 weeks old -They have been given lots of outdoor play since 5 weeks. -Puppies are training to go potty in a large tray filled with pea gravel when they are on the back porch. A few of them are already whining at the door to go outside when they want to potty! -We spot clean the puppies den on the back porch several times per day and do a thourough cleaning 1 time per day. These puppies have received lots of attention and love from their momma, myself, my 3 daughters and various cousins but need a forever home! Please contact me if you have any questions.
