Part time veterinary assistant wanted for a small holistic practice. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the veterinarian with exams, restraining animals for procedures such as blood draws, keeping work and treatment areas clean and sanitized, communicating with clients via phone, in person or email, various housekeeping duties such as poop patrol and trash removal, filing records, basic computer skills and filling prescribed medications.
The ideal candidate would possess prior animal handling skills, has the ability to self motivate and be task finding, has a flexible and adaptable demeanor with a desire to learn (and/or know) holistic veterinary medicine.
Our hospital consists only of a Licensed Veterinarian, Licensed Vet Tech and one support staff (you!). We strive to offer detailed care to our patients and our clientele.
