We are a National Account Lighting Distributor located in Vista, CA. Our goal is to provide the best customer service for our clients and exceptional support for our sales team. We are seeking a Quotations Coordinator who will perform a variety of duties directly supporting the sales department while working under the umbrella of the operations department. The primary objective of this position is to support the sales team’s efforts in securing business opportunities by efficiently generating accurate and price-competitive quotations for specific projects. This position requires the ability to read architectural plans, technical lighting knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time management skills. Responsibilities • “Take-offs” (counting plans) • Pull spec sheets from manufacturer websites • Generate new quotes; enter part numbers and descriptions in a new quote template • Communicate with sales people about job-related issues • Request and obtain vendor pricing • Find alternate lighting solutions when necessary or requested Job Requirements: • Adept at Windows platform: Excel, Outlook • High attention to detail • Willingness to learn • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills • Perform well under deadlines Education and Nice to have: • Plan reading experience • Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree related to business • Previous experience working for or with lighting distributors or manufacturers/rep agencies • Bluebeam experience
