Pioneer Property Management is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. Granite Bay Apartments is a large community located in North Phoenix. This position will be responsible for completing work orders, preventative and corrective maintenance and other required tasks. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of a stable and experienced team. Responsibilities: • Provides professional and courteous service at all times. • Report to and take direction from the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. • Overall cleanliness of the community including grounds and common area amenities. • Complete service requests in a timely fashion. • Prepare apartment homes at turnover for new residents. • Perform routine preventive maintenance. • Maintain material and supply inventory. • Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary. • Maintain a professional appearance and follow established safety standards. • Professional communicate to residents, vendor and fellow team members. Qualifications: • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, carpentry, and appliance repair. • Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields. • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment. • Ability to handle physical workload. • Deadline and detail-oriented, strong organizational and time management skills. • Weekend and periodic on call required. • HVAC and CPO Certifications preferred, willingness to obtain certifications with on-site training also acceptable. • Must be a self-starter, work with minimal supervision and be able to accomplish tasks on time.
