Floor Technician Requirements and Qualifications: • At least 1 year (we would love more!) of floor care experience is required. • Floor Tech certification is a big plus. • Must be able to operate various cleaning machines. • Ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, reach, and climb for extended periods of time Ability to lift 30 lbs. on a continuous basis and occasionally up to 50 lbs. • Prior cleaning or janitorial experience required. • Physical stamina. • Attention to detail. Floor Technician Duties and Responsibilities are not just limited to the following main duties: • Carpet cleaning, floor, and carpet maintenance. • Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. • Stripping and waxing floors. • Floor buffing and scrubbing. • Carpet and solid surface floor refinishing. • Ensure proper use of chemicals, supplies and equipment. • Monitor building security and safety by locking doors, etc. after operating hours. • Maintain safety procedures by using cleaning equipment/supplies according to company policy. *This position requires full vaccination against COVID-19 as a condition of employment, subject to a valid medical or religious exemption.
