Touring Band seeking Full-time Drummer for 2022 season

A local touring band is seeking a full-time professional drummer for the 2022 touring season. We play only weekends (except holidays) and travel the Mid-Atlantic area. In peak season, we have 2-3 shows/weekend. We are a family oriented group and respect personal time, however, commitment to performance attendance is a must. All gigs are PAID and average $125-$175/show. All transportation and lodging is provided for long-distance/overnight gigs. Shows include large county and state fairs, regional fairs and events, opening slots for national acts, as well as select local shows around Hampton Roads. Touring season runs from April 2 through the end of September. Rehearsals (not practice) are once per week in Virginia Beach in preparation for upcoming tour. All sounds gear is provided, including drum mics, PA, riser, etc. An electronic kit is provided for rehearsal. Musicians are only responsible for their equipment at shows. All sound and lights are the responsibility of the crew. (i.e.- You are not expected to lug sound gear if you don't want too!) Band & Crew members are expected to have reliable transportation, show up on time, possess well-maintained equipment and represent the group in a professional manner at all times. 2021 Season - We played 70+ shows, opened for 2 national acts, headlined a state fair, travelled and had a great time.
