Maple the cat is about as sweet as they come. She is mind blowingly gorgeous & in great health. She is very emotionally attuned and has a healing presence. She loves snuggling for hours as much as she loves traversing the meadows and forests. She will catch a mouse inside or outside the house. She only occasionally catches little birds (once or twice to my knowledge in the past few years). She goes outside a ton in the warm months and chooses to stay indoors for the winter. She prefers to do her business outside but will use a litter box when there is not an easy way for her to come & go. She is about 7 years old. She was born a barn cat but chose to spend her time getting to know the neighbors, who eventually wanted to find her a home and that’s how she found me. At that time she did get vaccinated & spayed. Now, due to living circumstances that are not ideal for a cat, I am wanting to find her an even better home. This would mean she can roam freely in the house, she will have steady human companionship, & there are no other cats or dogs currently in the house; only exception being a dog or cat that is very well socialized to other cats, we could give that a try. She has coexisted with dogs & cats before in multi level homes where the animals have chosen to stay separate and have their own territories. Both of those animals were somewhat poorly adjusted emotionally so I actually think she could make friends with other animals. She has lived with two other cats in the same area and they became friends and loved each other and were a team. I will give you everything you need to take care of her. Food, bowls, treats, litter box, brush, etc. I love this cat so much so if it didn’t work out with you, I would want you to call me back before sending her off anywhere else. REQUIREMENTS: -land for her to roam; you do not live on a busy street -she can choose when she wants to be inside or outside. she is NOT a housecat. A door for her would be ideal, or people around regularly to let her in and out. I suggest a cat door because she will want to come & go at odd hours. -you agree to keep feeding her favorite food at least during the transition -natural pet care
