Description
This is Tilde (Till-Dee), she is a ~6 year old pit/hound mix, I adopted her about 5 years ago as a service dog. She was selected by a program in San Diego due to her easy-going attitude and cuddly nature, she did wonderfully during training and has been my constant companion since then. She's house-trained, up-to-date on shots, and really good with kids, adults, other dogs or animals. Very food motivated! She lived with me in a van for a while, then in a house with 3 other large dogs, and on a farm for a little bit. She loves long hikes, car rides, beach visits and snow days, but is just as content to curl up next to you and watch TV. She's been doing wonderful off-leash, and I can walk her miles through the woods without having to worry about her running off. She does just as well on leash, although she does pull a bit. She really is a snuggle bug and will stare into your soul until you give her a spot next to you on the couch. She'll be a fantastic companion for a family or an individual, she doesn't poop in the house, get into the trash, bark at squirrels or neighbors, or bite. She just wants to run, snuggle, and hang out. No special diet either.
She's never had any behavioral or health issues, I simply don't have the space or money to keep her anymore. I'm an EMT working 12 hour days and it simply isn't fair for her. My current living situation doesn't allow her the space or attention she deserves. Adoption is of course free, and she's got a large dog bed, collars (GPS collar as well), food, bowls and some bones. Let me know if you'd like to meet her, or have a phone call. If you have any other questions about Tilde just let me know.
