Bike is a 2009 Kawasaki KLX 250sf. I took it apart for a routine valve job and installed new shims in the valve buckets. I aligned the cams, checking the marks multiple times, but now I can't get the crank to move more than 90°. I'm thinking I dropped a dowel pin in the timing chain area under the crank sprocket, which was probably the ting sound I heard when I pulled off the cam caps. I fished around in the case with a bendy magnet and a light, but nothing was found. Spent at least 10 hours on it and kinda feeling defeated. If anyone can help me get it back running, or at least to where the crank freely rotates, I'll be grateful. I can pay or even exchange labor as a helping hand on a project. I do car detailing, yardwork, some carpentry, and even electrical. Located in Hilltop. Thanks 👍
