Description

Homegrown, original country music is taking over Stanzy's Country Ranch! Meet your artists... Your headliner for the evening, Annie Brobst, is Ohio-raised and Danvers-based. She recently released her sophomore full album "Where We Holler" which peaked at #2 on the US iTunes Country Album Chart just below Carrie Underwood for the week. The album was described as a "nothing short of a love letter to country music" by Worcester Magazine. And she was just named New England Music Awards 2021 Overall Act of the Year, Country Act of the Year, and Song of the Year Winner. In the past few years she's performed at the Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter NY, Country Jam Colorado, Headwaters Country Jam in Montana, headlined New England Music Awards Ceremony, sold out Stanzy's Country Ranch, and so much more! Between touring outside of New England and here at home, she's shared stages with acts like Little Big Town, Kip Moore, Brett Eldredge, and over 30 more huge names. Last year when the pandemic hit, she toured New England to roughly 40 stops on a mobile stage to cul-de-sacs and neighborhoods to keep the music alive safely, for which she received some local press in the Boston Herald. And last winter Mike's Hard Lemonade offered to run some commercials on Boston country radio for their new seltzer and her new single "Make Lemonade", because of how inspired they were by that particular song. You won't want to miss her performance so close to home, which will feature a set of her own songs including the New England Music Awards' Song of the Year "Red Wine on My Mind". Opener, Jake Swamp and The Pine, defines himself as One Man. One Beard. 6 Strings. Currently composed of Drew Zieff on guitar, vocals, and foot stomping percussion, and having formed in 2018, JSATP has toured relentlessly in the Greater Boston and New England region. Recent performances include The Middle East, Toad, Lizard Lounge, The Burren, City Winery, and Nightshift Brewery’s Brite Lites Music Festival in addition to partnering with SoFar Sounds for a number of concerts. Recently, the band finished 2019 and 2020 with two nominations at the Boston Music Awards (Americana Act of The Year, Drew Zieff for Vocalist of The Year). Drew prides himself on bringing the ruckus and energy of a full band, while also being able to create an intimate space that is typically associated with a singer-songwriter, and can seamlessly ebb and flow between the two. JSATP released a freshman EP in 2019 and three singles in 2020 (“Copilot”, “My Sister’s Old Guitar, and “Chapstick and Change”). Most recently released during the pandemic was the Outside the Studio Live EP. A live EP recorded 10 feet from the studio to capture both the recording studio quality and the energy of a live performance - something JSATP and fans missed terribly. This EP was a collaboration with Don Mitchell of Darlingside. 2018 New England Music Awards' Song of the Year 2018 New England Country Music Local Female Artist of the Year 2017 New England Music Awards’ Female Performer of the Year 2017 New England Country Music Local Female Artist of the Year 2016 New England Music Awards’ Country Act of the Year Currently nominated/pending Boston Music Awards’ Country Artist of the Year Annie's website has all the information you may need - www.AnnieBrobst.com .
