"Give What You Can, Take What You Need Pop Up" All items are FREE: shoes, clothes, food, hygiene, household products and school supplies The Justin J. Davis Heart Foundation in partnership with our wonderful Community Partners/Collaborators - Elijah's Purpose, Kingdom Covenant Empowerment Center Central Virginia Health Services, Boyd BHG Foundation, Walnut Hill Pharmacy and the Petersburg Parks & Recreation Department have "A Heart for Giving". This event includes the FREE Giveaways, Canned food and Hygiene products drive, Health Screening (Blood Pressure and Glucose) and lots of helpful information. The mission of the Justin J. Davis Heart Foundation is to educate and raise awareness about Congenital Heart Defects (CHD), Heart Failure (HF) and Sudden Cardiacs Arrest (SCA) and to inspire and support persons affected by it. Our vision is to increase awareness about CHD, HF, SCA with the goal of savings lives through education, the facilitation, the promotion of heart screenings, providing Hands-Only CPR and AED training. We are committed to donating/providing AEDs to community and recreational groups.
