Apprentice me in framing and floor joists

I hired a guy to do some framing and he stole stuff and did a shitty job, so I would like to frame some walls, place posts and frame a loft in my studio. I was going to move to a new location, but it fell through, so I want to make the most of the space I currently have.... I am looking for someone who likes to teach who can show me how to frame, crate floor joists, and to help me understand what standards I need to keep in mind when choosing lumber, designing my expansion, and building for safety, and stability. I am also interested in understanding some of the wisdom you gained over time. Let me know how much you would charge for a teaching session that will help me to get moving on building my own lofted area in my studio. I am located in Dedham / Hyde Park.
