The May Day “Mayday” Festival is a celebration of music, food, libations and community With acts like the Spin Doctors, Deer Tick, The Smithereens, and Crash Test Dummies on the bill, Suffolk AME’s May Day “Mayday” Music Festival is back! Returning to Suffolk’s Southaven Park on May 14, 2022, the May Day “Mayday” Festival is a celebration of music, food, libations, community, and the men and women of Suffolk AME, the greater Labor Movement, and all people who work to provide for their families. Our goal is to join with our neighbors, friends, and family while raising awareness of the issues facing all working people. As a charity event, all net proceeds will benefit Long Island Cares: The Harry Chapin Food Bank as well as local scholarship funds.
