Description
ENTRY-LEVEL GENERATOR TECHNICIAN:
• Assist in performing major and minor preventative maintenance on small generator models
• Perform additional repair needs including replacement of belts, hoses, and batteries
• Assist in troubleshooting operational failures of generators
• Test batteries, fuel coolant, and oil
• Repair and adjust transfer switches as well as perform minor repairs on units
• Assist in installation and startup on new generator units
• Assist in preventative and corrective maintenance of standby generator systems 20KW through 4000KW
• Follow proper procedures in assisting with load bank testing
• Concisely document all work and repairs completed
• Follow safety requirements, including proper use of protective equipment
• Safely drive and maintain the cleanliness of service vehicle
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Technician should complete all Industrial online coursework for Kohler Learning Academy
