Yard Dismantler / Automotive Parts Puller The successful candidate will be responsible for pulling parts from vehicles located in the yard to fulfill workorders. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment, is a team player, and wants to help ensure quality is our #1 priority. Hours are Monday Friday. No Weekends or Holidays. Yard Dismantler / Automotive Parts Puller Compensation: SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED: Working knowledge of auto parts. Attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Able to work in all weather conditions. Physical endurance. Verbal and written communication skills. Possess the ability to adapt to change and willingness to perform tasks outside of normal duties. Ability to work overtime as needed. Possess a positive and friendly attitude. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Pulling parts from inventory in yard to fulfill work orders. Regularly moving heavy items such as doors, transmissions, engines, etc. Inspects all parts ordered to ensure product quality. Reviews work order to ensure timely delivery/ quality of part. Promptly notify supervisor or sales staff when timely delivery/ quality of part is in question. Ensure parts ordered match work order descriptions. Communicate with sales staff to ensure accuracy of work order. Clean and prepare parts for customer pickup, shipping and delivery. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment. Assist Order Fulfillment Supervisor and Shop Supervisor, as needed. Inspect returned merchandise for damage and inventory errors prior to restocking. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: High school diploma/ GED equivalent TOOLS: Must provide own basic tools.
