Learn how to build and run worlds for any Tabletop Roleplaying Game, and how to lead a group of players on an adventure in that world
Tabletop Role Playing games, or TTRPGs, are, in essence, a form of cooperative story-telling. Stories told in a fantasy world of endless possibilities and options to do as one of many players in a given game. However, the Dungeon Master, instead of playing in the world and exploring it, is the one who builds and runs the world for everyone else, a necessity in any TTRPG.
Being a Dungeon Master requires several skills:
Organization: To schedule games and control the players
Improvisation: To react to twists and surprises that happen in the story and things the players do.
Story-Telling: To be able to tell a cohesive story
Game-Balance: To be able to balance encounters to properly challenge your players without making the game too hard or easy.
Game-Knowledge: To have a solid grasp of the rules of the game.
