Heavy Equipment Operators, Forklift Operators Waste management company in Sparks, NV seeks 12 Heavy Equipment Operators / Forklift Operators to operate industrial equipment including, heavy equipment loaders, forklifts, and personnel lifts to support operational functions and clearing jams. EARN $24/HOUR STARTING + $36/HOUR FOR OVERTIME! If you’re hired, you will enjoy 100% company paid health insurance and free parking. You will be rotating schedules between day and night shift. As a Heavy Equipment Operator / Forklift Operator, you will be required to conduct daily pre- and post-inspections of heavy equipment and conduct routine preventive maintenance. You will also be expected to: • Use the appropriate mobile equipment, top loads trailers from tipping floor. • Manage tipping floor material movement, stockpile material, and continuously pile and feed material into the drop-down bunker. • Work safely and actively to promote a safety-first work environment. • Ensure operations are being conducted in a safe and environmentally compliant manner in accordance with company policies. In order to qualify for Heavy Equipment Operator / Forklift Operator, you must have at least 6 months of heavy equipment operator experience. You must also: • Have a high school diploma or GED. • Have great attendance and be able to work overtime, as needed. • Have reliable transportation. • Be willing to consent to a background check.
