Description

** resposting with correct phone number, sorry for my prior typo** With a heavy heart, we have decided to make the best decision for our sweet boy Cooper. He needs much more exercise and bigger fenced in yard than we currently have to offer him. He is a 4 1/2 month old German Shorthaired Pointer. He has AKC paperwork. He is not neutered. Is current and has all his vaccines. We’re struggling with potty training; he knows he’s supposed to go outside but sometimes has accidents, so he wears a belly band in the home when he’s not in kennel. Cooper has completed his board-n-train puppy class ($1500 alone), and knows commands such as sit, stay, “kennel”, “off” (which is command for “no”), wait. Hasn’t had much time on leash, so he does pull (We have a gentle walker collar he will come with). We also got a treadmill for him to run on, and while that works great, it’s just not enough to drain his energy, but you’re welcome to take it with you (he runs great on it alone). Kennel trained. Doesn’t chew on anything he’s not supposed to. Cooper has been around other dogs and does great. Not sure about cats. He would be well suited in a home with older children (7+) and a big fenced yard. He’s a very sweet, loyal, loving boy and while this is a tough decision, we know he needs more than what we can give him. He will come with his food, collar/leash, toys, ACK paperwork and vaccine records. Given the breed, his training and everything we have for him, we will be asking an appropriate re-home fee.
