After a successful Speak Out Event in 2020, we announce our 4th Annual Speak Out! Our goal is simple at this event: to provide a space for YOU, as a business owner, to Speak Out about what you need from local government officials to support the success of your business. Men and Women Business Owners will speak, and our local government officials will watch and listen. During this non-partisan event, businesses will be allowed to SPEAK OUT on topics impacting small business, including: - Long Term Energy Reliance - Access to Capital - Water Resources - Workforce -Work/Family planning and benefits -Issues related to operations and MORE! We will be LIVE polling our business owners on specific questions and additional vital areas. This is a POWERFUL process that has been used to successfully influence change in other areas, and NAWBO Central Coast California is proud to bring this successful format back to San Luis Obispo County business owners. Our elected officials will watch and experience firsthand what YOU as a business owner feel. This is YOUR opportunity to SPEAK OUT and for them to listen. This isn't a typical event where you express your feelings and are given canned answers; instead, we will take your responses from the LIVE POLLING (via your cell phone at the event), and our representatives will be watching from their seats to see how you're genuinely feeling in today's economy and the business environment!
